SCI student qualify for the Global final round of Huawei ICT Competition

Maluki Muthusi Maluki from School of Computing & Informatics is among the 6 finalists of the Global final round of Huawei ICT Competition.

the Competition commenced with registration and a road show in October 2019, this was followed by the National, Regional and now finally the Global Final competitions.

Thecompetition comprised of two tracks Network and Cloud.

Network encompasses WLAN, R&S and Security, while the Cloud track includes cloud computing, storage, big data and artificial intelligence.

to prepare for the final round, the students attended a vigourous 2 day bootcamp training at the University of Nairobi.

the other students are from multimedia university (2), laikipia university (2) and JKUAT (1).
