Launch of Innovation, Incubation and Commercialization Program

As we come close to this year's Nairobi Innovation Week 2023, We will launch an Innovation, Incubation and Commercialization Program ( IIC)  as a precursor to  the main event. 

A call for innovations with commercialization potential was made in March 2023 and 15 innovations were selected for the program. The selected innovators comprise of students and staff. Each individual innovation program will be carried out by a team to ensure sustainability of the process.

This program is for the University’s innovators with innovations that have potential for market commercialization. The Program will include mentorship and coaching of innovators,incubation, scaling up of innovations which are market ready, preparing them for business startups and spinoffs, connecting innovators with venture capitalists, and industry for commercialization among other things.

The program will bring in industry partners and capital venture funders in support of the innovations commercialization.

The program will be launched on Wednesday 19th April 2023 at 8.00am at C4D LAB, Faculty of Science and Technology, Chiromo Campus.
