It invloves Distributed Applications, Telecommunications and Internet Technology, Cloud and Grid Computing  and Management of Network Infrastructure.

Information Systems Thematic area seeks to: Apply theory, knowledge and practice for effectively and efficiently building information systems that satisfy the requirements of users & customers; Apply  knowledge on construction of usable interfaces and testing their Usability; Understand the social and professional context in which computing is done;  and Provide practicing and aspiring ICT managers with the relevant skills that will enhance their service delivery in both technical and management perspectives.

E-Learning systems focuses on pedagogical techniques; eLearning frameworks and tools; eLearning innovations, legal aspects; distributed eLearning and mobile learning.
