Health Systems Innovation Hackathon
The Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab is organizing its 6 th annual Health Systems
Innovation Hackathon on Thursday 10 th April and Friday 11 th April 2025. The theme of this
year’s Hackathon is ‘Building High-Value Health Systems: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence’.
The event will be global and we anticipate hundreds of participants in Boston and across
Innovation Hubs in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
We would be delighted to have you take part in our event along with other experts in healthcare
innovation.
The applications for the Nairobi Hub are now open! Please share this invite with anyone
interested in joining the Hackathon in-person in Nairobi and hosted at the University of Nairobi
Department of Computing & Informatics, Chiromo Campus.
Applicants can join the Hackathon as part of an existing team or form new teams to develop and
pitch their innovative ideas on how AI could improve health system performance. The
registration deadline is the 25th of March 2025 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling
basis.
Winning teams will be invited to join a Venture Incubation Program led by the Health Systems
Innovation Lab, working in partnership with experts in venture building.
The ultimate goal is to support winning teams in adopting and scaling their innovations to
achieve ‘value for money and value for many’ in health.
